MONTEREY BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING MINUTES
Date: March 3, 2008
Present: Stephen Enoch, John Makuc, Robert Annelli and Peter Kolodziej
The meeting began at 3:45pm
1. Mail was reviewed.
2. The minutes from 2.4.08 were approved as written.
3. The ZBA special permit application for KSAMass, LLC to run a summer camp was reviewed by the Board and a response was sent to the Zoning Board of Appeals.
4. A memo was written to the Town Clerk’s office requesting the Board of Health signatures be attested on the recently updated tobacco regulations and confirmation that they will be placed in the Town Bylaw book.
5. The Board reviewed the application submitted by KSAMass, LLC to operate a summer camp and have sent a letter requesting a meeting to review their plans prior to acting on the application.
6. A letter was reviewed and approved by the Board to be sent to Judy Bach regarding the proposed subdivision on Mt Hunger Rd. If the water supply is deemed to be a Public Water supply their proposed septic plan could not be approved.
7. The Board reviewed the septic plans and additional information provided by White Engineering for the Catino property located at 31 Sackman Way. The Board will require a deed restriction be placed limiting the property to 4 bedrooms.
8. The Board reviewed the response from Dana Bixby regarding the Neu property located at 9 Bidwell Rd and responded to Dana with their comments.
9. John Makuc confirmed that he will fill out the online survey for the MAHB (Massachusetts Associated Health Boards).
